Adrien Messié loves Objects and their totemic dimension.
From the conception of a piece of jewellery, a furniture design or an entire spatial environment to the selection of the artisans who bring them to life, Adrien designs under his own name and collaborates with brands, publishing houses and private clients.
Trained in the creative industries and the world of luxury, Adrien began his creative career alongside ANDRÉE PUTMAN in 2004 before becoming Director of Editions and Licensing for the renowned studio. There, he developed prestigious collaborations with leading international brands and exceptional manufacturers including Emeco, Christofle, Nespresso, La Forge de Laguiole and Fermob.
In 2012, he conceived LE GRAMME, a creative project centred around wearable and functional objects named after their weight in grams. Precise and minimalist in its aesthetic language, the concept translates elemental forms into precious metals—18-carat gold (750/1000) and sterling silver (925/1000).
As co-founder of the brand, Adrien led every aspect of its creative direction for seven years, from product design to visual identity, retail concepts and presentation. He established the essential aesthetic principles that became the foundations of LE GRAMME’s creative DNA—codes that continue to define the brand today. In 2019, he stepped away from the operational side of the company to focus on his other creative ventures.
Alongside this, Adrien co-founded H A ï K U in 2013, a creative agency producing electronic music events featuring internationally renowned artists such as Dixon, Adam Port, Rampa, &Me, Bedouin, Adriatique, ANOTR, Jimi Jules, Desiree and Pawsa. The agency has produced internationally acclaimed events in France including KEINEMUSIK Paris, CIRCOLOCO Paris and INNERVISIONS, while also providing global creative direction for clubs and venues such as CARBONE (Paris), SANCTUM Saint-Tropez and GATE Paris. H A ï K U also develops creative concepts and produces experiences for fashion and lifestyle brands.
Since 2022, Adrien has collaborated with THEOREME EDITIONS, the French design house founded by David Giroire and Jérôme Bazzocchi. Inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, he designed a dining table whose generous proportions accommodate up to eight guests while naturally adapting to more intimate gatherings. Beyond its distinctive silhouette, the controlled curve lends the piece a quiet, almost spiritual presence. Extending the same mathematical principle into three dimensions, he also created a versatile side table that can equally serve as a stool.
In early 2025, following LE GRAMME‘s acquisition by new ownership, the Maison invited Adrien to collaborate once again, entrusting him with several creative projects spanning product design and image campaigns. The first expression of this renewed collaboration came with the launch, in June 2026, of a new interpretation of the iconic Beads collection featuring natural stones—including malachite, black onyx, tiger eye and lapis lazuli. Further projects will be unveiled over the coming seasons.
